I had three things with large plugs that I couldn't all plug into one outlet at the same time. I bought this one which has three plugs if you can find them in the right places and also has two USB ports as a bonus. I think it pops out quite a bit, but I don't see how it can be that much smaller and still fit three large ports. It has a fairly bright green LED, which bothers me at night as the plug is in my bedroom. I'm going to cover the light with black dot tape made for this purpose and that should help. From my observation, when you travel you never know if there will be enough outlets and USB ports for all your electronics and you really need to carry some kind of plug with you. I have a much larger one for the kitchen, with four power outlets and four USB ports, but this smaller one can suffice in many situations.
