Received this in December 2017 as a Christmas present. I started this in early January 2018. Here's what happened: Early months: I was pleased with how easy it was to add or remove music - just drag and drop (at least on Windows). I use the biggest/longest headphones. They occasionally fell out, but generally held up quite well. They don't completely block water like really good earbuds, but they're pretty tight. I found it best not to pull the swim cap over my ears as the movements of the swim cap tend to pull the earcups out of my ears. The first problems after about 6 months: At this point, the ear pads easily detach from the studs. They just stopped clinging. I experimented a bit and found liquid nails to be a good solution. See photo. Applying liquid nails to the seam where the earcups met the lugs stopped them coming undone. Completely stopped. Since then no one has left. To be safe, I put on a thin coat of liquid nails for about a month or two. At 13 months I did an experiment without charging them to see how long they would last. I was a bit shocked as I swam 18 times before my battery died while swimming. Approximately 15-16 hours of battery life for a 13 month old device. I accept it. At 14 months, I lost sound in my right ear when the thin wire that came out of the yellow plastic frayed. It didn't break completely, but it might as well have. In hindsight, that thin connection space is another spot where a little liquid nails could have paid off - before the wire got damaged. The sound is ok (not an audiophile for me), but not great for splashing around in the pool. I find that music really helps me swim on my lap. I swim an average of 4 days a week, usually a little under an hour, so probably 3 hours a week on average. So in 14 months of use I probably swam about 180 hours. So was it worth the price I paid? Yes, I would say so. None of that lasts forever. I feel like I got pretty good value from these things. I think I need another one.
