Diamond in the rough

ODOR: Much better experience with this one. With the Comgrow, I could smell it once I started going upstairs to my 3D printer room. SUNLU has a very low odor, something similar to Phrozen or Siraya Tech. I never do reviews for my opinion

I own a Anycubic Photon S. I usually purchase Anycubic resin. But the price of that resin is just a little too high for my taste. I did tons of research and found this resin at a "buy 2 get 1 free”, compared to the price of the other resin. I did what I always do and read the reviews. I’m guessing they fixed the "cap issue ". No problems there. The resin is a little less viscous than the resin I’m use to. It’s "watery”. I changed my FEP, poured in the new resin and didn’t change a thing. So far

Great value, works great on my Phrozen Sonic Mini

I'll admit, I was skeptical, with this resin having a lower price point than the AnyCubic Basic, I wasn't expecting perfection. I have a Phrozen Sonic Mini, and this time of year, I'm having to print in 40F weather. I'm keeping the resin at the ideal temp with a small heater inside of the printer, but ambient temp in my workshop is way too low to be printing otherwise.So far, I've gotten excellent results with both the black and white resin, and at faster speeds than I've been able to achieve…

What a great resin.

I love this resin for my 3D printer it works great with no separation of layers. I like the color and the matte finish with no shine to detract from the detail of the model being printed. I have already gone through one bottle of this resin and had my brother send me one for my Birthday. This resin is great, and I would recommend it to others doing resin 3D printing.

if you have a very large resin printer, this resin is for you

This resin has outstanding adhesion to the build plate while still being detachable. If you print large parts (not just many) on your large printers, then this resin is the most versatile I have encountered so far.Adheres well, supports do not fail easily, fine layers and very good print speed are the hallmark of this product.I had a 100% success rate, even on the notoriously moody and quirky Phrozen Mega 8K. Printer lots of strong rigid and light brackets (shown in white in the picture above).

Dont understand the bad reviews.

I tried this brand because of cost, I ordered my usual elegoo clear red then ordered 3 other brands this being one. I was shocked at the quality for 10 bucks less a kg bottle. The only thing I could find slightly wrong was it wasnt as deep red as the elegoo red was, it was more clear looking. and thats just me trying to find something wrong. I looked at some of the bad reviews and have to wonder what they are doing wrong because didnt have to change or adjust ANYTHING to use this and get good…

I’ve purchased this resin 3 times now and have been getting amazing prints. I love the light grey color the best. That's my feedback.

Great resin! for my opinion

I usually print very small items and this resin is up to the task. I printed these on my Uniformation GKone with no issues at all. Quick cure times and easy to clean as well. This is by far my favorite resin.

Works great on my saturn.

I have had much fewer print fails with this resin than any other I've tried. Maybe it just likes my settings more than anycubic or the other brands I've tried hut this is now my go to resin.

Sunlu Resin is a great product. Will buy more.

Love this product printed these 2 on a Mar2 with Sunlu Translucent Blue, was going to paint but love this Blue the figures are a Water Elemental and the other is an Air Elemental. My settings are default and the detail is perfect.Price is great too and the bottle has a nice pour with less drip than others.

This stuff is great!

I have been a huge fan of Sunlu filaments for a long time. When I seen they had a resin I had to try! This stuff is amazing. It prints great has very little odor to it. I can’t wait to try more of the colors they offer!

Best low cost rein once you dial it in.

I love this brand. The cost is great and once you dial in the settings it prints better than elegoo or anycubic.People have complained about peeling or flaking. Not true for me.

Have not being able to find the right settings.

I've been using a Saturn S, and I can't get decent results. Layer exposure was set at 2.5 and increased to 3.0, without improvement. I noticed that the resin was very runny, so I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch.

Pros
  • Very easy to work with. Prints great on standard Chitubox settings.
Cons
  • Not recommended for use with FDM 3D printers
