I have two Maine Coon cats, one is an adult and weighs about 24-25 pounds. So it's a bit heavy to carry it to the vet or somewhere else. He fits very well in the large size of this bag along with another Maine Coon who is a kitten. The wheelbase attaches to the bag with Velcro straps from inside the bag that wrap around the wheel platform. This is very easy when the cats are not in the bag, but it requires two people when the animals are already in the carrier. The reason the stretcher is losing a star is the handle which is driving me nuts! It doesn't tilt 90 degrees, so you'll either have to lean it against something or put it on the floor. It pulls back, but there are a few small issues as sometimes it gets stuck and you have to start over.
