UPDATE: It lights up the night! At first I thought a quiet car had pulled up behind me, then I realized that my own light was putting out all the light in front of me. It shows me the way forward, at least the way car headlights do in low light. I use medium or high when out on the track at night. They are brighter than I need on the street. Low is bright enough to illuminate at least 200 feet in front of me and clearly show road debris, branches, potholes, and piles of leaves. The supplied red rear light looks very bright and very well made; Celebration. Both lights are attached with an elastic strap for quick removal and easy charging. My flashlight arrived quickly. It is impressively packaged in a sturdy, good quality box that reminds me of my iPhone's packaging. Two USB cables were included in the box, one short, the other more than a standard length. I charged it overnight. When I tested it this morning everything works correctly, it's very bright on high settings and it looks well made, clearly worthy of the box it came in. I will update after doing a few overnight rides. on my way through the unlit streets with piles of rubbish, rubbish bins and road debris.
