The fabric is so flimsy that my 6 year old daughter managed to tear the strap after she undressed well on the second use. Very rarely even her clothes get damaged as she is a very delicate child so it is unusual to see anything falling apart. The material feels very comfortable, but is so thin that it is not surprising that it does not last long.
