Review on 👟 Durable McDavid Elastic Ankle Brace Large for Maximum Support and Comfort by Brett Kolpack

Needs some improvement

Overall I like this brace. This provides enough support for what I need. I severely sprained my ankle/foot over a month ago and it still hurts and arches/rolls on me. So I just need something to hug my ankle and help it stay straight. HE gave me one of these, MEDIUM size, but it cuts off my circulation like it's a kid size. In fact my child (who is tiny) wanted to wear it (loose joints) but it was too small for her (her circulation was cut off)! So I bought it in size XL. I wear size 10/11 women's shoes and my feet/ankles are pretty thin (if I say so myself). Size XL fits me well and does not interfere with blood circulation; it supports (keeps my ankle straight without even thinking about it); and I forget it's on. I find the heel cut very annoying (it kinda stops the circulation in my heel), so I don't put this "sock" on all the way, but leave the heel hole underneath. my heel (instead of around it) and it's much more comfortable. I'm almost wondering if BIG will fit (it would be nice to have a little tighter support) but I'm sure it would be tight enough to bother me. 4 stars. Yes. If you have slim feet/ankles then this should suit you. But if you have large feet/ankles (in diameter) I think you will be disappointed as it cuts off circulation. As the size wasn't listed when I went to buy it online, here's what it says on the box. (but these recommendations are actually SUPER): Small: men's shoe size. 6-9, women 7-10 Medium: men 9-11, women 10-12 Large: men 11-13, women 12-14XL: men 14-15, women 15-16 years old
