I'm buying this for cosplay weapons. The goal was to give it a spontaneous look. This skin did not disappoint me. I used hemp twine to hold the tip of the spear in place. Once I did that I started wrapping the leather around the spearhead and bo. The fur was easy to handle and easily attached to the hemp rope. I was able to bind it and even use glue without losing integrity. All in all, this was a great purchase.
