I bought this to make a handle for my bamboo cane. Drawing on decades of Boy Scout knowledge, I soaked it in water overnight, wrapped it around the bamboo, and let it dry to fit snugly against the bamboo. Ancient knowledge - you have to love it!

Well not as good as new (boots) as I couldn't tie a knot as well as I did at the factory. It's called barrel knots, I found some tutorials on YouTube. The laces look good and appear to be the same quality as the original laces. Hopefully better as they broke within a year.

I'm buying this for cosplay weapons. The goal was to give it a spontaneous look. This skin did not disappoint me. I used hemp twine to hold the tip of the spear in place. Once I did that I started wrapping the leather around the spearhead and bo. The fur was easy to handle and easily attached to the hemp rope. I was able to bind it and even use glue without losing integrity. All in all, this was a great purchase.

This is a thin narrow laced leather suitable for lacing anything that will take little to no stress. NOT worth the asking price. NOT Latigo Leather. YOU should NOT order for any purpose other than cosmetic purposes.
