I really like that these headlights are the same size as a normal modified assembly. I didn't like how brittle the springs were to fit into the glass mount. When compressing, I popped out two different springs to fit the headlights into the glass. They distorted and didn't stick to the light. I ended up using two of my old single color builds. After downloading the light control app and creating a login with username and password, I was able to start the pairing process. Another problem was their mating. Two went well. It took at least two 15 attempts to get them into "pairing mode". It may have been user error, but after two successful attempts the first time and then two very failed attempts, I'm more inclined to think it was the lights themselves. After overcoming this obstacle, I could immediately proceed to control and change the light output. The Parmida app itself seems well thought out from the start. Unlike most smart products, you don't need to provide your social security number and your mother's maiden name to use this app. This part made me very happy to add this to my phone. While you have very standard controls for your light fixtures, right down to setting timers, you don't have the option of using a regular wall switch other than turning them on/off. The lights resume their last output command. If you want to dim them, that's only possible through the app. You can set lighting options to create a single control button in the application. So let's say you want the light to pulsate with three colors like purple, green and orange like I did for Halloween, with a click of a button you can do it. A major update is needed here. You must set a parameter for each individual light source. This includes choosing the color itself, which means it's almost impossible to make them all the same as they have "16 million" shades to adjust. This could be a simple improvement by creating a batch program option. Click on the lights you want to create a feature for and set the feature once for all the selected lights, not for each individual light. That alone would make the Parmida App and Parmida an easy 5-star combo product. Overall I think it's the best option in a market flooded with nameless products and junk apps that are better at anti-bloat/spyware than genuine product support apps. I'm almost embarrassed to dock a star, but if the app sees an update that fixes this seemingly obvious shortcoming, I'll happily add a 5th star. Lights in white modes are very bright. As with any colored light bulb, you lose a lot of lumens, but when mounted outside as a ceiling light, they look really good outside in any color!
