I had no idea Apple had removed the ability to port to new Mac Books. This article saved a life! It comes with all the outlets you need to plug everything into your Mac. There is no lag in data transfer or any type of streaming. My only complaint is that my Mac has a protective plastic cover and the port doesn't connect until I remove the bottom cover.
