Some instructions could be given but I think it was easy enough to understand. This is a better loop than the default loop, but still a weak overall design. While my stock stand's hinge fell apart and the stand fell off somewhere in the Rocky Mountains, this stand's pivot/O-ring design is simpler and better than stock. The weak point is the material thickness of the stand itself around the hinge axis. If you never park off street, this is an adequate stand. If you really pay attention to where you park off-road, you're good to go. Mine lasted until parked at the ATV track with most of the bike's weight on the stand. He collapsed and dropped the bike. Pivoting a bike on this stand puts it at risk of catastrophic failure.
