I have had several Bluetooth headsets over the years and I have to say this headset is the best. The market is now or more fashionable, for aesthetic pleasure, the sound quality, especially related to noise reduction, is excellent. MICROPHONE AND NOISE CANCELLATION The microphone on this device is essentially a miniature microphone - a type of microphone commonly used by sound carriers in news, television and film production. Directional microphones use an interference tube (hence the device has "two microphones"). Useful on-axis sound travels unhindered directly down the tube to the capsule membrane, but unwanted off-axis sound must reach the membrane and enter the side vents. Since this noise enters through several slits and the distances between these slits and the membrane are different, the off-axis sound hits the membrane with different phase relationships and partially cancels each other out - this is why it is called an interference tube. • a large fan is running in the room or if you use the headset while driving, background noise will be greatly reduced by pointing the microphone in exactly the right direction. BATTERY LIFE Battery life is exceptional. Out of the box, I used the device for several days without even charging it. With the supplied USB charging cable, the device can be fully charged in less than two hours. Once fully charged, the device can be used for more than a week in standby mode and more than 24 hours with almost constant use. .This is great for phone calls, dictation, as well as listening to podcasts... However, it's not the same as a good quality pair of headphones like a Bose or Beats device.
