Amazing leaves on aquarium water treatments

The leaves are good but the only problem is that when I leave them in boiling water I noticed that it has oily layers, that is they tear the leaves off tree and dry them prematurely instead of letting the leaves fall naturally. I would be happy if the leaves I received weren't like this next time as this is a problem for broilers that need to breathe and the layer of oil can cause problems.
