I've tried so many different "sustainable" laundry detergents, but after reading consumer guides, EWG realized that most of them aren't as safe as advertised, and if they are, they don't wash my clothes. With a toddler I need detergents that are non-toxic yet strong enough to wash the dirtiest clothes. I finally found it! Attitude's entire lingerie line is the best! Everything comes out very clean and soft and most Attitude products are EWG certified and are among the safest products on the market. They're certainly expensive, but not many, and the quality of the product somewhat justifies the price. I don't normally use fragrance products, but Attitude's fragrance products have a very subtle and pleasant scent. I've shared these products with my whole family and now everyone uses them (even the family members who used to use heavy duty chemical detergents - they think Attitude works just as well!).
