Not exactly the same as OEM part

The AUX port on my 2007 Honda Civic failed and did not detect a wire connection. To save money I bought this version from another manufacturer to replace part #39112-SNA-A01. Unfortunately, this is not exactly the same as the manufacturer's original part. As other reviewers have pointed out, the circuit board is slightly longer than the original so the plastic cover is not fully secured. See attached images: OEM (left) and this product (right). I was still able to get it working by using a rotary tool to carefully trim off the excess plastic to match the original part. If you have the time, the tools, and the patience, this product will work. Otherwise, spend a little more to get an OEM version.

Pros
  • - SAVE TIME AND MONEY: It only takes a few minutes to replace the Civic Auxiliary Port and you can repair the audio adapter yourself at home instead of spending over $200 at the shop your money!
Cons
  • Was damaged
