Best Homemade Wax Available, Especially for "Ethnic " Women

UPDATED TO ADD: STILL the best wax I have ever used for all the reasons I have listed below. I've been using it for 7 years now. I will also add that I have extremely sensitive skin - redness, rashes for the slightest reason, rosacea. When making wax I find this to be the gentlest option. I don't doubt that people were sensitive to this, but it's still worth trying if you're sensitive because it's possible, like me, you won't have a problem. ------------ ------I am of Indian origin. We're obsessed with hair removal, but like many "ethnic" women, we have relatively thick, coarse body hair that's difficult to remove. I've used most methods including threading, waxing (both at home and in the salon), epilators, etc. I've complained in the past that many home kit products are designed for women with thin, slow-growing hair. I had to repeatedly apply strips to the same area until my skin was inflamed but the hair was still there. This streak free Parissa hot wax is the ONLY product I stand by 100%. I've been using it for 2 years. Since you are applying a strip of hardened wax and then peeling it off, the hair will get stuck in there and come off whether you peel off the strip slowly, quickly, at an angle, 1 minute or 5 minutes after application. That said - you don't have to be a pro to use this thing. The wax comes off cleanly and completely, leaving no traces on the already inflamed area of skin to be removed. That's incredible. I get pierced every two weeks now and use this upper lip product in between. That hurts? YES SIR. This is how it hurts – your skin doesn't hurt from the chafing, but the nerves around your follicles hurt like hell from pulling EVERY HAIR by the root. If you're surprised that pulling hair is painful, you must be fooling yourself about how hair removal works. However, it is worth it. One note: let it get a little syrupy after heating (it shouldn't be runny) and make sure you blow on it for a second so you don't burn your skin. It's hot wax! BUT you also want it to be liquid enough to spread on, so you need to find a sweet spot between liquid and gum that works for you. Much luck.
