My son has wanted one of these for a long time. I bought him one for his birthday. I also bought a cheaper brand... just in case. External was a joke. If you put in your credit cards etc. and then drop your wallet, all cards are off. It says it's leather, but it's not. It felt like cheap faux leather... it even felt like a material resembling faux plastic. While that's not particularly important, the presentation actually let us down. In a cheap box with a piece of tissue paper around. It cost more than double the second "just in case" wallet (which was LOVELY by the way... made from a faux wooden box with a lovely velvety lining, lovely thick leather that looked, felt and smelled like leather ..extra strips, for storing paper money, with a difference, and with this wallet you could play ball and nothing would fall out). We were so disappointed with the ekster wallet. When my son opened his gift we kept trying to find something inside that he might like...he wanted it so badly but we just couldn't figure out why they were so damn expensive (we would have returned it even if he it would have been $10 or less because he's useless if he can't even do his one job right).
