After I bought August car floor mats for my Chevy Cobalt and was pleased with the quality I ordered this cargo area mat for my trunk. It wasn't difficult to trim, but since the car is so small I figured I'd have to adjust a lot more. Turns out this mat needs some trimming so it may not be large enough for a full size car or SUV. Either way, it covers most of the trunk and protects it from the messy and messy bits I stuff in the trunk. Cleaning is easy, I just wash and wash off the dirt. I would like something thicker, similar to rugs, but this one is fine. One of the main complaints is the strong odor of this rug. The mats didn't have a strong rubber smell, but this mat does. I highly recommend leaving that air out for a few days or a week. After a week, the smell in my truck dissipated.
