I bought this because I thought it would not only help me with my skincare routine in general but would specifically serve as a prep for skincare and extractions face masks. In terms of setup, filling with water is very easy, but I've found that after filling, unscrewing the cap, and replacing, there's usually something leaking from where the water tank is held. The water heats up and as the steam is released it comes out uneven. The vapor flow will be strong in some places and weak in others, forcing me to lean back and forth while talking to my phone or laptop; renders the straightening nozzle practically unusable. When it comes out, it smells so bad, burnt, almost like burnt plastic. When installing the nozzle, remember that you cannot move it in the remaining 15-20 minutes. So if you want your entire face covered, you need to move. After all, steam does not allow extraction! If anything, the steam will cause your skin to temporarily tighten. It's easier than laying a towel over a pot of steaming water and the heat-up time is much quicker, but what it does isn't quite as long as what I was looking for. If I knew it didn't suit my needs I'd rather look for another brand or boil the water for 12 minutes. It's decent if you just need to steam your face without having to get in the shower or use a pot of water as you just have to fill it up and plug it in.
