Ignore what they say about sizes.
They send you the next size up than you order because they claim the shorts run small (e.g. if you order a medium size you will receive the shorts with a tag saying they are large and how big do those fit.) I usually wear medium. To get the middle one, I had to order the small one. I don't think they realize they sell compression shorts and not underwear.
