Review on 🖥️ Enhance Visuals with Rankie DisplayPort (DP) to HDMI Adapter - 4K Resolution & Audio Converter (Black) by Ryan Brunson

I would give this unit five stars except that 1) I bought it on July 23, 2016 and 2) it broke on October 1, 2016. I have found that my monitor is extremely sensitive to static electricity unlike my other two monitors (without this adapter). Tonight it didn't work at all. I checked the connectors on the back of the monitor, everything was fine. Then I checked the connection to the graphics card (NVidia GTX 1060), for which I used this adapter. Unfortunately, when I tried to remove the adapter from the graphics card, the adapter fell apart, leaving the end piece in the HDMI port on the graphics card. I have attached photos to show. I couldn't remove a piece of the graphics card with my bare hands. I had to shut down the computer completely and use pliers, holding them on each side (left and right since the top/bottom handle didn't work) and pulling hard to get the part out of the computer. . I could not believe it. I will never use this product again and suggest you find a product with a more reliable name/overall reliable. I hope this port on my graphics card is not destroyed!
