It didn't work on my system when I tried to use it as a triple monitor output. When I used this alone with another monitor it worked fine, but not when I mixed and matched display port, DVI port and HDMI port. The reason is that it is a passive device and not a more expensive active device. I would give this unit five stars except that 1) I bought it on July 23, 2016 and 2) it broke on October 1, 2016. Update: DO NOT BUY! I was wrong. This will scramble the displayed image by limiting it to "ycbr420 limited range" instead of the full RGB range. The "low" HDMI setting is really only meant to compensate for this and doesn't really "fix" the problem as it just darkens/brightens EVERYTHING to mimic it. This is a very basic cable that does exactly what it says on the tin. Full-size Displayport for HDMI 4K. Works great, cheap price, 5 stars.
