It didn't work on my system when I tried to use it as a triple monitor output. When I used this alone with another monitor it worked fine, but not when I mixed and matched display port, DVI port and HDMI port. The reason is that it is a passive device and not a more expensive active device. If you're only using two monitors on your computer it will probably work fine, but if you're trying to get three monitors to work you'll probably need an active device since the chipset in the computer may only be able to send two clock signals. and the active device creates its own.
