It's not exactly 1650W

It overheats when using the 1500W heater and turns off the built in switch. After 4 or 5 resets it seems to be completely broken and turns off immediately. It worked flawlessly and served its purpose (running a 1500-watt heater in a 20-foot insulated shipping container) until it failed completely. Wire to the heater and make sure it only draws 13.5 amps. 110V x 13.5A = 1485W. This should be within the usable range for this unit, but it is not. This was enough to overheat it with a duty cycle of over 20 minutes. It was delivered and installed on January 28th and it's already dead. It didn't even last a month. Edit: I contacted the seller and he actually sent me a second unit but I won't be using it. You see, in the time between posting this message and receiving the new block, I disassembled the old block and found it had a 14A fuse. It clearly says it's 1650 watts and 15 amps, but the simple truth is that it's not, and never will be, a 15 amp device. I don't know if the seller knows about this, but the label is frankly fake. I thank the seller for the excellent service and timely replacement. but the product still only has one star because I have to give enough to leave a comment. #2: I like the unit and want to use it, so I searched and found a 15A button fuse, the same as the one installed, it's from the same manufacturer, and two of these I can get to make sure the thermostats work properly . ?crid=CI2061WA7QQ&keywords=button+backup+15+amp&qid=1552256379&s=gateway&sprefix=button+backup%2Caps%2C147&sr=8-1
