I am using this antenna with a Midlland MXT400 GMRS radio. Connection cable 25' KMR400 (similar to LMR400). I used a Mcbazel Surecom SW-102 Power/SWR meter. My MXT400 is powered by a 13V 12A switching power supply. There are markings on the top of the antenna that show your transmit/receive frequency. That's pretty close compared to the SWR readings. At 50 watts of output power (wow, what a powerful Midland!) I had an SWR of 1.6. The SWR was 1.1 at low power (6W). When I first received the antenna it was bent at a 20° angle. i.e. damaged. The box and packaging were in perfect condition so I don't know why they gave me a bent antenna. I chatted with Revane and we traded him for a good antenna.
