The cable is thick and thick at the same time. A thick braided cable is added protection and beauty. It even feels premium. I could tell it was an expensive cable even if I didn't know the price and honestly at $25 it's worth it. I have a six foot version which is the perfect length if you have a large entertainment center and want access to all the compartments. I bought it for my PS5 but as I don't have it now I tested it on my PS4 Pro with a Vizio Quantum Dot TV and it worked great. The first game I tried was FF7 Remake and it looked amazing in 4K. I could see all of the hair and skin textures on Cloud, Barret, and Aeris. Then I tried Resident Evil 2 Remake and it was so scary I had to turn it off in the first east corridor of the police station. It was so dark and lifelike it felt like I was shooting a horror movie and I'm just not man enough to handle it. After that I turned on NFL Game Pass and rewatched the Bills game last week and Josh Allen's mustache couldn't look more scruffy and ugly. He really needs to add some more manly juice to this parody. But I digress, and it's neither here nor there. All in all, this is a great cable that will last you for years, both physically and in terms of features as it conforms to the HDMI 2.1 specification.
