Adheres to lashes and presses onto skin

It's difficult to get your eyelashes into these curlers. I've read reviews of some saying how great it is to be able to separate their lashes with "lash rods", but the rods are on the other side of the crimpers and are only useful as a barrier to hold the lashes in place to keep. They give the impression that your lashes are flowing in the same direction as the lamellae, but that's not the case. A lot of excess rubber has to be washed out before each application, otherwise the eyelashes will stick to the rubber and can be pulled out.
