Review on Shires Airflow Turnout Socks White by Dean Locke

I bought these hoping my gelding wouldn't stomp as the flies are already terrible here in South Florida. But the velcro on one shoe was torn and torn and the next morning I found it lying in a paddock. I quickly ordered a replacement and Revain was great and made the whole replacement process easy. A new set appeared, and the same thing happened again. This time I watched my gelding just to make sure he wasn't messing with his boots. It's not like this. He was grazing in a paddock when I saw that one of his front boots had fallen off again. Time. Same gap - the velcro snapped and came off cleanly. I've seen a lot of good reviews about them and just can't believe how pathetic their durability was. I don't know if it was a newer or older version with bad velcro or something, but I'm starting to search for flight boots again.
