Manufacturer error
The screw connecting the frame to the stand was countersunk too deep so when the tire was attached there wasn't enough thread to hold it in place. The husband tried to fix it but the latch got stuck. Done, but was afraid that the tree would crack. This can be used, but still does not tighten to the end.
