Good transmitter overall. Size was important to me as my 12v plug is small and easy to use. Pairs quickly and gives you an audible confirmation. Devices charge at a fairly normal pace for most chargers. It's not a fast charger, but it's what I expected from today's technology. I was expecting a drop in overall volume and would say 2/3 of normal levels were fairly constant. The big downside is the reduction in sound quality. The mids were ok, but the highs and lows were a bit cut off. It didn't sound bad, but it was noticeable in the music I listen to. had to turn it off. They told me that I was either misinterpreting or that they couldn't understand me. I was told that even at 25mph there was a lot of interference. Updated January 14, 2019. I have found that this device will sometimes reset itself resulting in a loss of power, especially while driving. Also, the company keeps sending me emails asking me to change or remove my rating because it's not five stars. The company ignored my request not to contact them and continues to email them almost weekly. For this reason I lowered my rating again. Spend the extra money and buy something else.
