When you open the battery compartment you will see two springs on the bottom and NORMAL in any other application the NEGATIVE end of the battery will always slip over the end of the spring. NOT THIS TIME. I was lucky I saw in the questions "see. pic #3" and of course the batteries are mounted where a positive end goes on the spring. THEN the remote worked. But I've never seen a battery like this before. Confusing of course. And who looks at all the pictures of a product when it claims to be the right remote control?
