The material and workmanship of the skirt is excellent. The feel of the skirt is luxurious. Our bed is a king-size platform with separate mattresses. I bought a king size skirt with a 16 inch split ruffle. A 16 inch ruffle would be ideal for a ruffle with a platform top just above the floor. Seeing how much needed to be folded in half and stretched in length, we measured the platform's width and length dimensions, which measured 74 inches wide and 76 inches long. My google search revealed that the king bed frame is 76" x 80". We had to lift 4-5 inches on all four sides of the base to get the skirt just off the floor. I gave 5 stars. Value for money and thickness rating. The label said the skirt should be laid flat to dry when washed. I have no place for my wet skirt. I decided to press on the ruffle that came out of the small packaging very crumpled. The creases were so deep that I had to spray the ruffle with water as I pressed it. As we have just received it, prepared it and put it on the bed I don't know how wrinkle free the ruffle will be. So I gave it a total of 3 stars.
