I also have a Meross garage controller and indoor sockets so I already have the app. I also have WeMo and Wink products. Meross is more profitable and apps work better. It doesn't require a hub and the Alexa integration is good. The app itself is very powerful. So if you don't have Google Assistant or Alexa, she'll still be great. I have an Android phone so I use the Android app. Setup was very easy. All you have to do is plug in an outlet and click the + icon on the app and it will find the plug and the wizard will walk you through it all. If I had to do this over and over I would just buy Meross to save money so I only need one app. I hope Meross makes more sockets and switches and continues to offer them at such great prices.
