I had this attachment as a child, and when my husband and I became addicted to citrus juice last winter, we decided we needed a more efficient citrus juicer than we had. We have a citrus press and a juicer. Both work well, but the first is only suitable for small citrus fruits (Chinese lime) and the second is bulky and a nuisance to remove and peel. This is the ideal intermediate option. Unless I'm worried about seeds, I don't use a strainer to get some pulp in my juice. The only tricky thing is that if you press an orange on the juicer, for example, your car will be pushed backwards. There are two ways to fix this: lean the back of the cookware against the wall to keep it from moving, or place the cookware on its side on the counter and hold the back of the cookware while you place the orange on the juicer press back pressure. My husband would rather have a downward pressure juicer than a side pressure juicer, but I don't think you can have them all and we're not looking for a replacement.
