I am using it to replace my cigarette lighter and adapter on a boat. I don't really have anything else that uses a cigarette lighter so this is a nice upgrade. It's easy to install. If you have an existing cigarette lighter socket, it will fit directly into the same hole, or you just need to drill the hole with a step drill. Wiring is supplied with ring terminals, shielded terminals and a built in fuse on the power supply. If you're replacing a cigarette lighter port, you can simply unplug and plug in the existing wires. The charger has an on/off switch next to the ports on the front panel. It's a touch button, so don't expect a "switch" like a click. The face lights up when the chargers are powered and comes with a dust cap.
