Broke on day one: MP3 & MP4 player accessories

I put this in two different cassette slots in my car and it got stuck in the second, it never worked in the first so I threw it away. I'm not sure if it was just a defect. Since I put it in two different cassette decks on my machines and it didn't work in either of them, I'm assuming it's defective.
