First of all, the colors are strong and very effective, it looks just as good in real life as in the photos. I bought the orange one to contrast with my dog's black fur and the pattern is very classy! Let's be honest, this isn't the strongest, most durable pet collar out there. The D-ring is a little weak, the collar material is a little thin. There are no problems with the buckle. However, when I walk my large dog, he puts on a strong harness to control tension, so his collar is more like a dog wear and a holder for his dog tag. If your dog pulls heavily on the leash and you only walk him with a collar, I'm not sure this collar will be strong enough for you. My Lab X has a thin neck and this collar fits perfectly. I almost didn't have to adjust it for him. I bought a large size for a boy. The collar is easily adjustable if needed if your dog has a large neck. Overall I LOVE this collar because it makes my dog look stylish, the pattern is great and the colors are vibrant. I have no hesitation in recommending this collar to anyone and would buy it again. The price was amazing too! I've definitely seen competing products that have reviews saying the product is flimsy etc and the product is a lot more expensive and this collar is definitely a better deal than Petco or Petsmart and some pet store collars - flimsy junk, not like that good as it is .
