I have tried many different mats over the years and have found this mat to be the easiest to clean and the most "cat safe". I like to chew on anything and everything. There is no problem with this rug as it sits flush with the floor making it easy to vacuum or pick up dirt. I love this rug so much I now have two of these. I use these mats for a variety of purposes including in front of litter boxes, water bowls and food bowls.
