This is a cast iron replica, not cast aluminum like the original. The item pictured here is not exactly an accurate description of what I received. The cast iron hose nipples are oversized in diameter making it VERY VERY difficult to fit the heater hose. After all, it went on with lithium grease and a lot of effort. As a result, the heater hose stretched too much and became thin right next to the clamp. Insufficient. Oh, and yes, I used the correct diameter tubing (!). The additional diameter affects the radiator hose a little less, but it has also been stretched. Another problem is that it weighs 10 times more than the aluminum version. Although I must admit that hacking them is not easy. Avoid and look for cravings at NOS or junkyards.
