I wanted to hire someone to run new wiring for my doorbell because I didn't have a drill long enough to penetrate 5 inches of material, but I decided risk it for that. this and bought it to do it myself. It took me 20 seconds to drill through one side of the wall on the outside of my house and complete the doorbell installation with no problems.
