Cheap dyes will stain other items in the wash
Black towels don't bleed well in the wash and will stain anything they are washed with, but not very darkly. After learning this lesson the hard way, I soaked some of these in the sink with soap and a capful of bleach, squeezed them out, and refilled the sink to rinse. See photo. The rest of the towels appear to be of decent quality fabric. When you buy them, wash them with black only the first few times.
