I've been having too much free time lately so I decided to get some vintage lamps to be rewired from the late 1930s. I bought a couple of these and 25 feet of cloth wrapped cord (industrial winding at Revain - https://www.amazon.com/cloth-wire/s?k=cloth+wire&rh=p_89%3AIndustrial + Rewind) cord and plug works great with my vintage lamps. The case's fork is large enough to accommodate a cloth-covered cord and tightly tied tether knot, and still cover the "live front" - as it should. I am very satisfied with this product.
