Bought this for my son for distance learning, it was great until after the first week the chairs fell apart. There are practically no fish on these items, so they are easily damaged. I ended up sanding the top and applying 4 coats of polyurethane so I could peel it off as the mark was all over the place and wouldn't peel off. After the chairs broke we took them apart, taped them together and tried again to make them last longer but fell apart again. We tried again and screwed in a few extra screws. And they lasted a little longer, but still fell apart. The chairs go to the trash as there is no quality gorilla glue to hold them together. The polyurethane table top turned out to be fantastic and very durable.
