I love how I can put the wax tray in the freezer until it cools, take it out and hold it in my hand to warm it up. Glass heats up faster than wax and the wax just slides off and can be thrown away. The glass is thin, but that's not a big deal as it really doesn't need to be touched much. In addition, it lets the spruce light shine with a warm light. The same warm light ensures you don't forget it's on. My other melter has a red light on the side and I often forget it's on. I love it and recommend it to anyone who needs a wax warmer.
