Review on North American Pet Family Cat Condo with Built-in Sky Lookout - Two-Story Design by Linda Rodgers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

good investment at Cat Trees & Condos

I searched and read reviews of dozens of cat trees before finally settling on this brown carpeted tree (my first cat tree ever). My two kittens (a Siamese and a Singaporean) liked it before it was picked up and used it all the time. Assembly was easy but they couldn't send me the one screw I needed for the top. I went to the manufacturer's website and used their email/contact form, but after two tries I still haven't heard anything. I finally found the right screw size at the hardware store. Months later, kittens could still be found on the top perch scratching, playing, or napping. Now I only have one cat (the Siamese had to be put down) and another on the way. It still looks new despite being used a lot. It's heavy, strong and well made. The carpeting is well finished, the visible undersides are covered, as is the interior of the little cat's apartment underneath. Nothing broke or came loose. There was no indication it might tip over even though my cats were (were) small. I don't think even the biggest cat can swing. There's no shame in that for such a large piece of furniture it looks understated and not "tasteless" in my tiny workshop.

Pros
  • Sturdy Construction
Cons
  • Expandable
