Why did not I think of this?
Once you use this item you will realize how ingenious yet almost obvious this design is. It's made of very strong plastic with angled arms that connect to the sides of your ladder just below the tip. It is installed immediately, but it seems that it is an integral part of the staircase. There is absolutely no play when mounted on my Werner ladder. And there's no way it can detach unless you pick it up off the stairs, which takes about two seconds. It's unusual that a versatile tool can work so well. Amazing product!
