The first came with a defective heating element and fan. Returned for another. The second came with a working heating element but not a working fan. Luckily the fan connector works with the desktop power cable so I was able to get it to work. After work, the digital adjustment is easy and the auto-off function when the tank is empty is very practical. I ran a couple tanks of water through to test use and it filled, triggered and forgot (that is if you get one that actually works). The fit and finish is excellent and it's a great design. However, a one-star rating is tied to two of the two, at least one part of which isn't working. If the first one worked fine out of the box and installed, I'd give it five stars.
