I bought this to do small batch spirit runs and experiments and I am not at all disappointed. It's a bit slow, but you don't have to worry about it all the time while it's running. My first run after the cleaning. It was a strawberry wine I made and it was distilled to 110 degrees and tasted clean. it will bring much more benefit.

Used to distill water, won't turn on after a few months. Upon inspection, the power cord plug is slightly melted and the green power button on the back appears to be shorted. Update: Revain was contacted via the chat function who sent us a new track in a hurry/free of charge. The power button has been updated on the received device.

I ran this 6 times to erase my 3D print of isopropyl alcohol with resin and out of 6 times it only worked 4 times. reason, print. Six months later I couldn't unplug the power cord and after much effort I pulled it out and it melted. I used a different cable as it is the standard power cable and I touched the cable and it was hot. After I removed the cable after only 2 minutes, the end melted. The first came with a defective heating element and fan. Returned for another. The second came with a working heating element but not a working fan. Luckily the fan connector works with the desktop power cable so I was able to get it to work. Although it's a bit slow start, it still works well for water. Based on the time it takes to boil a full tank of water, I suspect the heating elements are undersized for the thermal mass represented by the volume of the tank. I have successfully distilled three full portions of water. My spring water comes from the municipal water supply. Municipal water has a TDS of around 280 ppm.
