I've been using this filter for almost 2 weeks now and I don't know if it works. I usually drink purified bottled or spring water, so I don't really remember the taste of tap water. I don't drink tap water and don't want to try it. My niece drank it a lot and she likes to go to the filter and get water from the tap. The first night I installed it she drank a glass and passed out. I'm not sure if it was water or if she was just tired, but the water tastes pretty good. Much better than Aquafina. I don't like Aquafina at all. I used to fill and set the pitcher down every night, and it's become a habit. I will continue to use it until the filter fails.
